Did you know that there are generational curses that can plague our families if we don’t take authority and demolish those strongholds? Did you know that this life is so simple to live out in Jesus but there are stipulations? Did you know that the manifestation of your healing is the moment you receive that healing?
The promises of God are always yes and amen (2 Cor. 1:20), but only if you live according to the Word you know. People who don’t know who Jesus is experience miracles all the time but that’s not who I’m talking to right now. I’m talking to those who know something to be held accountable to (Rom. 3:19, Matt. 12:36). So if you try to have Jesus without the Word your trying to have something without itself for they are one in the same (John 1:1). If you try to have freedom without Holy Spirit, it’s the same as before, for where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom (2 Cor. 3:17).
When you accept Jesus as your personal Lord and savior that means you’ve made the act and proclamation of faith to now live everything according to him. So when you accept him as Lord and Savior, you also accept everything his blood paid for in that moment. Healing, freedom, forgiveness, redemption, life eternal, was all received when you received him because he requires faith (Rom. 12:3). If you can’t claim all of him you miss out on much! I can’t say all because God is so rich in mercy that I’ve seen Godly fruit in people’s lives that don’t take God at all of his word, they are still cut off from a lot though.
This life is a faith walk to be lived by faith not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). So why do we claim that, “my mother and grandmother were gestational diabetic so when I get pregnant I will be too”? The promises in the word are to a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation (1 Pet. 2:9). Does your life look royal, holy, and priestly? Then, like James said “don’t expect to receive anything from God for a double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” What qualifies you to ALL the promises of God? His grace. What positions you to receive them? Living a life in pursuit of him and all his ways. It’s “being holy even as [Jesus] is holy.”(1 Pet. 1:16) It’s being perfect even as your Heavenly Father is perfect”(Matt. 5:48). Perfection is without sin. We can indeed live without sin. When you die to self, the sin nature is no longer in control and your spirit is free to live holy! Let us then “live and move and have our being [in him]”. (Acts 17:28)V
